From the inception of the Hip-Hop culture, the Bronx has been the breeding ground for musical legends and notables like Kool Keith, the story telling Slick Rick, KRS One “the teacher”, and the late BIG Pun to name a few. Today the Bronx still boasts some of the industry’s most promising rising stars. With such strong musical influences, it was no surprise when at 13 years old Sinsay began entertaining his family and peers with the rhymes he constructed at age 13. Word spread quickly in and around his neighborhood about his skills. Sinsay realized he had a natural gift, and music would soon become his life. In H.S. Sinsay went on to join “Livin Dead” a large rap group that was considered the Bronx Wu-Tang Clan. The group soon disbanded, and Sinsay soon linked up with Bobby Trends. From 2000-2001 he made appearances on his Hand 2 Hand mixtape series. Unfortunate circumstances would soon arise as several members were sent to prison, propelling Sinsay into the position of a solo artist. The next few years were tumultuous and Sinsay also ended up serving prison time.

Fast forward 2004, Sinsay partnered with an old acquaintance, a recording artist signed to (Maybach Music/DefJam). Together they created Specialyst Set.

In 2008 Sinsay released his debut mixtape “Break Bread” hosted by DJ. Tear Drop, in 2009 “Industry In Da Streets” hosted by Remy Ma’s official DJ. Bedtyme357, and 2009 with “The Rebirth of Hiphop” Hosting original Production and verses from Young Money’s Corey Gunz, West Coast Mc’s Mistah Fab Donny Goines and Jay Rock with Bad Boy Producer Amadaeus ,The “Rebirth of Hip-Hop” has been featured on numerous sites including Nahright.com,Worldstarhiphop, Allhiphop.com and Hiphopdx.com.
The latest project entitled “The Transition” boast original production from Jimi Kendrick. The first Single/Video is amply titled “I Deserve My Spot”

The Underground Music Awards acknowledged Sinsay’s stamp in the game in 2009 with 4 award nods. Sinsay went on to win Best Unsigned Male Artist and #1 Contender while being nominated for Buzz Factor and Best New Movement. 2010 the UMA’s again nominated Sinsay as “Outstanding Artist” Sinsay has headlined at The Harlem Theatre with D-Block President Sheek Louch and Street Mos Magazine.

Sinsay has established L.D Ent in 2010 and has continued his Rebirth of Hiphop concert series dedicated to upcoming artist. Major Recording artist that participated in the series were,Dj Envy, Freeway, Charles Hamilton, Jay Rock, Sha Stimuli, Grafh and Triplecs. With AllHipHop, Lifebeat and Habitat of Humanity as past sponsors. Sinsay is at the forefront of being tomorrow’s next Hip-Hop voice of reason.
